What goes on in a settlement process?

First, you need to understand that debt settlement is only for those who are experiencing financial hardship. Hardships include unemployment, reduction is earnings, medical debt, divorce, being a victim of a crime or possibly a hike in interest rates causing your debt to become unmanageable.

If you are experiencing a legitimate hardship, debt settlement is a reasonable alternative to bankruptcy. It is less intrusive and does not stain your credit record for ten years.

Debt settlement is the term used when we come to terms or agree to pay a portion of a specific debt with a creditor. Before achieving a settlement a negotiation process must take place. Debt settlement and negotiation go hand in hand, a settlement cannot be achieved without the proper negotiation process. Many assume a settlement is the same thing as a negotiation, it is not, it is just simply the result of negotiation. Therefore when we speak of a debt settlement program, we are simply speaking of a negotiation process. What this means is the term debt settlement program is misused, it should be called debt negotiation or debt settlement service. We know now what debt negotiation is, lets talk about debt settlement and how it works...

Our Relief Program uses 5 steps to get you debt free the quickest, least expensive way possible

1. Educate Yourself, and Then Fill Out The Contact Form Below:

The first step to financial freedom is educating yourself, then receiving your free debt consultation with one of our highly trained Debt Consultants. Fill out the secure form, a Consultant will contact you within one business day to review your Debt Relief Options and tell you more about our program.

2. Qualifying for Our Debt Relief Program:

The next step in our program is qualification. One of our highly trained Debt Consultants will review your information and determine whether or not you qualify for our debt settlement program.  In order to serve you with the highest regard for speed and quality, we want to make sure we can work with your current creditors and that your situation fits our program requirements. If you qualify, your Debt Consultant will then tailor our debt settlement program to meet your individual needs.

3. Calculate Settlement Amounts:

Next, our debt negotiation experts estimate the amount of settlements for each of your debts. We will work within your budget to calculate an affordable monthly payment that works for our debt settlement program. It is then your responsibility to make sure this payment is available for our program every month. You will not pay this money to us; you will deposit it into an individual account that you have access to, used for settlement purposes.

4. Notification of Creditors

The next important step in our debt settlement program is for us to notify your creditors that you have enrolled in our debt settlement  program. Our debt negotiation team will contact all applicable creditors and inform them that we represent you. This will minimize or even eliminate creditor calls. Communication will be re-directed to our debt settlement office. Legally, they may still send you correspondence in the mail, however, should calls continue, you may again inform them you have enrolled in our debt settlement program and direct them to the appropriate contact. Our goal is to eliminate stressful and annoying creditor calls through this process.

5. Approval and Payment of  Each Settlement

Finally, our debt negotiation team will negotiate with each creditor for a unilaterally agreed settlement amount.  Once approved, we will send the agreed upon funds directly from your debt settlement account to the creditor. Your debt will then be considered Settled in Full, Settled, or Paid as Agreed by the credit reporting agencies. The process will repeat until each creditor is settled and you have completed our debt settlement program. You will then be completely debt free.
